For colour services and trichology consultations, we recommend booking a minimum of 2–3 weeks in advance. Bridal and events bookings should be secured at least 6–12 months prior to your date. Walk-ins are accommodated where availability permits, but we cannot guarantee specific stylists.

Bring any current haircare products you use, details of any medications or supplements, and — where possible — a record of how long you've been experiencing the issue. We may also ask about recent illness, stress, dietary changes, and hormonal events. The more context, the more precise our assessment.

Balayage can be performed on virtually all hair types and textures. During your consultation, Noel will assess your current colour, condition, porosity, and desired result to ensure the technique selected is appropriate. In some cases — particularly with very dark or previously over-processed hair — a preparatory treatment may be recommended first.

The treated scalp should be kept dry and free of direct sunlight for 4 days post-session. Avoid swimming pools, saunas, and heavy exercise for 7 days. We provide a full written aftercare protocol at your appointment. Long-term, daily SPF50 application significantly extends pigment longevity.

We respectfully request 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the appointment to another client. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time may incur a charge of 50% of the service fee. No-shows will be charged in full.

All chemical services carry some degree of hair stress — this is unavoidable. However, the severity is almost entirely determined by the skill of the practitioner. Noel's elite L'Oréal Colour Correction certification and our use of professional bond-strengthening treatments (Olaplex and K18 protocols) means hair integrity is protected throughout. Yes. There is ample on-street parking on Carysfort Avenue and in the surrounding Blackrock village area. The salon is also a 3-minute walk from Blackrock DART Station.

We exclusively use and recommend L'Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, and Olaplex products — all of which are available in the salon. We are happy to prescribe a bespoke home maintenance routine following your appointment, tailored to your specific hair type and service.

Absolutely. Our trichology clinic is specifically designed for clients with medical hair loss conditions including alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, and telogen effluvium. All consultations are private, confidential, and handled with the utmost sensitivity and clinical rigour. We work in tandem with dermatologists and GPs where appropriate.
